With a passion for service and a heart for others, we are committed to building meaningful connections and making every event feel like a celebration of life, love, and unity.
How DOT'S Was Born
DOT’s Catering was born from a combination of family, passion, and a commitment to serving the community. The name "DOT’S" was created by combining the names of my two sons, Dorian, O'Shane, with my husband last name, Tatum, and S for Seberina. I chose to use my sons' names because, as a single mother for many years, they were my biggest motivation and support. My stepchildren’s names are included within my last name, Tatum, so I wanted to honor my biological children by naming the business after them.
Our Journey
The idea for starting DOT’s Catering came out of necessity. While working in a department that required fundraising, I was given the responsibility to organize events but without a budget. I realized that if I was already investing my own money to support these events, I could channel that same dedication into starting my own catering business. From overcoming obstacles to achieving certification and securing a location, every step of this journey has been driven by my belief in the importance of doing things with heart and purpose.
